Where are you based?

I live in North Brisbane QLD but I have had clients book me around QLD- to the Gold Coast, Brisbane surrounds, Ipswich and Sunshine Coast!

Do you have a studio?

At this stage, I do not have a studio but depending on the request, specifically for product photography I have a set-up at home.

What type of sessions do you photograph? 

Maternity, Newborn and Family to Business Branding particularly Women in Business, is the genre of photography I love to do.  My heart has always been drawn to capturing women as newly-nurturing-mothers, and business women.

 What’s your style?

I consider myself a lifestyle photographer. My sessions are designed to capture natural raw, and candid moments with some minor prompting to help you feel comfortable.  I gravitate towards prompting you with connection (eg, cuddles, playful laughing, kisses, and snuggles). My business branding style is always aimed at ensuring your brief and vision is met.

When do you schedule sessions?
Outdoor sessions are scheduled from Thursday – Sunday one hour before the sun sets. As a photographer who cares about giving you the best possible images this is when lighting is best. The sun is low, soft and luminous.  Newborn (In-home) sessions are scheduled M-F mornings between 0900-1330. Business Branding is scheduled Mon- Fri mornings. 

What locations do you use? 
I pride myself on giving my clients location suggestions based on the environment that feels more natural and authentic to them.  It would be a matter of finding out if you are interested in-home, grassy field, lake view, mountains, forrest or beach?  Once that’s decided I have several spots to recommend on both Brisbane regions, Glasshouse Mountains, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast.

Can I print my images myself?
Yes. All my sessions include edited/retouched images + print release via digital download.  You also have the ability to order professional prints directly from your online gallery.

How long does my session last?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Regular sessions typically last 45- 90 minutes 
Newborn sessions 2- 3 hours  

What do I wear? 
Ensure you wear an outfit that you feel you look your best in!
The infamous client closet is available to you as well. This includes a variety of womens dresses and maternity gowns.  You’re welcome to schedule a appointment to meet me and browse and try on items. This must be done at least 5 days before your scheduled session. Search hashtag #adoreherphotographycloset on Instagram to view some items in my work. 

Should I get my hair and makeup done professionally? 

It is up to the client’s discretion. I find some clients love minimal hair and make-up as this represents them the best. I also find clients who love having their hair and makeup professionally done. It is a personal choice for yourself and your family. I only ask all clients to ensure hair is styled neat and tidy, and make-up to be natural, but it does not need to be done by a professional. I’ve seen some amazing make-up done by my own clients!

What happens if the weather is bad?

Cloudy weather is not a problem. However, if it is torrential rain or extreme wind. I will contact you as soon as possible to postpone or reschedule. 

I’m excited to see my photos! When will they be ready?
I always get so excited to share them too! Your entire gallery will be completed within 2-3 weeks or less! You will be notified via email when they are ready.
